Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician to perform installation and service of propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer locations. The role emphasizes safety, correct documentation, and timely delivery of fuel products.

Responsibilities include installing tanks, servicing equipment, conducting inspections, and maintaining inventory. Candidates should be prepared for after-hours work and to pass training and safety requirements including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience or training in truck and equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to handle hazardous materials.
• Willingness to become propane CETP certified as required by state(s).
• Willingness to obtain MFA Oil crane certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Must pass MFA Oil road test and demonstrate vehicle operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems and tanks at company or customer locations.
• Perform scheduled service work and after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Inspect installations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain inventory of parts and equipment used in service.
• Document service work and keep records up to date.
• Operate company vehicle safely following all regulations.
• Communicate issues and feedback to management and supervisor.
