Job summary

MFA Oil is seeking an experienced Fuel & Propane Service Technician to install and service propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer locations. You will manage equipment installations, perform routine maintenance, and respond to after-hours service calls while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, driving credentials, and the ability to obtain CETP certification and a Class A/B CDL within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state served.
• Ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil road test requiring operation of manual and automatic transmissions within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient service to customers, including installation of tanks and service of equipment.
• Install and service petroleum, propane, and related equipment at company and customer locations.
• Conduct after-hours emergency service as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Deliver refined fuel and propane products as needed and assigned.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
