Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician in Hamilton, MO. You will install propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems, deliver fuel products, and perform service work at company and customer locations.

The role emphasizes safety and compliance with all relevant guidelines. Responsibilities include installing tanks, conducting service work, inspections, and after-hours emergency calls, while maintaining accurate records and supporting plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training and/or experience in truck and equipment maintenance.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state served.
• Ability and willingness to become MFA Oil crane certified.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient service to customers, including installation of tanks and servicing equipment.
• Work as part of a crew during construction or installation of petroleum, propane, or related equipment.
• Perform after-hours emergency service and routine maintenance.
• Inspect customer installations to ensure safe operation and compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair system and equipment issues as assigned.
