Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a Delivery Technician to handle propane delivery, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance in outdoor field conditions. You will transfer propane, perform leak tests, and educate customers on safe usage and maintenance across residential and commercial sites.

The role requires a Class B CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements, and entails occasional night or weekend calls and travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CDL with tanker, air brake, and hazmat endorsements required.
• Experience in propane service and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with computers or mobile devices used in service.
• Pre-employment background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Transfer propane from bulk storage to trucks and to customer tanks.
• Perform leak tests and safety checks.
• Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and vehicle.
• Prepare work orders and documentation.
• Install and remove propane tanks and gas appliances.
