Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Promotions and Special Events Specialist to support the Promotions and Special Events Manager in executing all promotional and special events at Wind Creek properties. The shift is 12pm-8pm, with exact times subject to business needs.

You will coordinate events, staff, vendors, signage, and collateral, while ensuring guest services excellence and proper event paperwork. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required, with ability to obtain

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required or enrolled and complete GED within six months.
Twenty-one years of age or older.
Six months of customer service experience required.
Able to pass an interview panel and demonstrate guest service skills.
Good written and verbal English communication and instruction comprehension.

Responsibilities

Assist with execution of promotions and special events for Wind Creek Properties.
Act as an entertainer and mascot for the property.
Coordinate promotions by staffing events, distributing communications, contacting vendors, and managing equipment and signage.
Update promotional collateral and digital media at the property.
Provide excellent guest services based on the 3 Keys and GET.
Handle required paperwork and reporting for promotion winners, including IRS forms.
Develop new and exciting promotions and fill in for the Coordinator when unavailable.
