Job summary

iHeartMedia in New York, NY is seeking a dynamic Field Marketing/Events assistant to promote iHeartRadio brands at community events, concerts, and retail locations. You will help create exciting atmospheres, set up gear, hand out giveaways, and coordinate on-site activations for sponsors.

Responsibilities include event execution from start to finish, assisting with engineering for live remote broadcasts, capturing content, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable hosting crowds (100+ people).
• Strong interest in events, marketing, promotions, advertising, and live audio production.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time.
• Familiarity with the NYC Metropolitan Area.
• Physical ability to stand for hours and lift/move objects up to 50 lbs.
• availability on Saturdays, Sundays and 2 weekdays; some holidays.
• Reliable transportation to East Rutherford, NJ and Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Create an exciting atmosphere while engaging listeners and representing iHeartRadio NYC brands at events.
• Coordinate events from start to finish with on-site contacts and gear setup/breakdown.
• Assist Engineering with technical aspects of live remote broadcasts.
• Capture and recap events via photos, video, audio, and social media.
• Load/unload station vehicles and drive to events as needed.
• Assist with contest fulfillment and prize distribution.
