Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Sales Support-Projects in Houston to provide administrative and logistical support to the Project Management team. You will assist with planning, procurement, scheduling, and billing while ensuring strong customer and vendor relationships.

The role requires 1–3 years in EPC project support, familiarity with industrial electrical products, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 1–3 years of EPC project support experience.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical products and distribution channels.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Project Management department.
• Assist with planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
• Provide documentation, material coordination, and support to Project Management staff.
• Support the Branch sales strategy through timely responses to customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure products are ordered and billed accurately and promptly.
• Assist with handling overages, short ships, and damaged materials.
• Expedite materials to meet agreed delivery times with customers.
• Communicate scheduling and shipping date changes to customers and sales staff.
• Assist with change orders and closing out project billing.
• Assist with submittals, O&M manuals, and project documentation.
• Assist with closing out billing at project completion.
• Accurately prepare order documentation and maintain filing systems.
• Monitor order status from initiation to fulfillment and report issues.
• Develop relationships with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Prepare regular status reports for management.
