Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Location: Full-time, Onsite in NYC (Avenue of the Americas)

We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Installation Project Supervisor to manage the critical implementation phase for our media and broadcasting projects. This full-time, onsite role in NYC requires an individual with a deep understanding of large-scale media systems and the ability to lead onsite teams while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall implementation project schedules, ensuring alignment with financial and timeline goals.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client interface for the local New York project.
• Act as the crucial interface between the engineering team and third-party installation crews responsible for equipment racking, stacking, and cabling within broadcast environments.
• Develop detailed implementation estimates for services and materials to support proposal efforts.
• Determine hardware and material requirements based on construction release documents.
• Create comprehensive pre-build and on-site planning and schedules for project implementation.
• Provide hands-on management and leadership to the on-site installation team, including task delegation, time-off requests, and performance management.
• Approve and generate project-hire timesheets on a weekly basis.
• Generate and publish regular progress and material requirement reports.
• Provide detailed documentation markups to the engineering team for as-built documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience as an Installation Lead or Project Supervisor within the broadcast/media industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in the implementation of large-scale professional media systems.
• Highly organized with proven adaptability to project schedule and scope changes.
• Proficient in interpreting all forms of systems documentation, including diagrams, schematics, configuration tables, elevations, floorplans, and run lists.
• Extensive experience with contemporary cable and connector types and fabrication methods.
• Ability to effectively train and demonstrate installation techniques, procedures, and processes to team members.
• Familiarity with commercial building trades, their organization, and procedures as they relate to media system installations.
• Excellent collaborative, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional research and reporting abilities.
• Adept with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other contemporary project management tools.
