Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote - Must be local to Michigan state.
Pay: $41 - $44/ per hour.
Duties:
- Client is seeking a strategic and adaptable Project Manager to support the execution of our Low-Income (LMI) Strategy across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
- This role is ideal for someone who excels at working across functions, aligning stakeholders, and translating high-level goals into actionable plans.
- Projects may span digital redesigns, product development and testing, operational improvements, and governance support requiring a flexible, goal-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for a wide range of LMI-related initiatives, including digital redesigns, product design and testing, operational improvements, and cross-functional governance activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, define success metrics, and co-develop realistic timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Identify key dependencies and align related projects and workstreams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Coordinate and streamline communications, align schedules, and manage project resources across departments.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, lead discussions on project milestones, requirements, and resource needs.
- Build strong working relationships across a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, UX/UI, product, regulatory, customer operations, and external partners.
- Translate business and design needs into actionable development tasks, including writing user stories, use cases, and test cases.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, remove blockers, and escalate issues when needed.
- Support governance activities, reporting, and documentation for LMI strategy initiatives.
Skills:
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects that span digital, operational, and strategic domains.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across varying roles and priorities.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration across departments.
- Ability to translate high-level goals into structured project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 or more years of experience in lieu of degree.
