Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead daily field operations on heavy civil projects in a dynamic environment. You will supervise Zone Superintendents, manage subcontractors, and ensure schedules, budgets, and safety requirements are met with high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of skilled trade/engineering experience in roadway, structure, and bridge construction methods.
• Ability to lead and manage people, with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of state and federal safety guidelines and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and contract specifications.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Zone Superintendents to ensure completion of condition assessments for pavements, signs, bridges, and other contract elements.
• Direct and advise Zone Supervisors; determine self-perform vs subcontract approach and qualify new subcontractors.
• Monitor operational and financial performance and prepare reports for management.
• Serve as technical advisor to Zone Supervisors and Subcontractors.
• Review schedules, budgets, timelines, and safe operations with project briefs.
• Inspect in-process and completed work for contract compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop and implement service plans.
• Ensure reports, timesheets, and MMIS data are accurate.
• Oversee asset management including fleet and materials.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and ensure timely resolutions.
