Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, and supply chain coordination. You will work with factories, internal teams, and customers to manage projects from development and costing through production and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new product development with overseas factories, including specs, samples, testing, costing, and timelines.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity, materials, and delivery status with manufacturers.
  • Analyze product costs including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, etc.
  • Monitor inventory, forecasts, purchase orders, and supply chain risks to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate with customers regarding specs, status, lead times, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate between customers, factories, and internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
  • Assist with product issues, changes, complaints, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Specialist – Bilingual Mandarin or Spanish

A growing company is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and customer projects. This role will work closely with overseas factories, internal teams, and customers to manage projects from product development and costing through production and delivery.

Must-Haves
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese/Or Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities

  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside standard business hours as needed to coordinate with international teams and suppliers.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with disposable medical devices, medical consumables, healthcare products, or other regulated products.
  • Experience with OEM/private-label manufacturing.
  • Experience with product costing, supplier management, forecasting, inventory planning, or international logistics.
