Overview
The Project Scheduler supports the Project Manager in overseeing the planning and scheduling of engineering design and supply projects by gathering and analyzing project information.
Responsibilities
- Create, monitor and analyze project schedules in accordance with the standard of best practice and as required by the project contract documents.
- Develop and maintain a level 4, resource‑loaded Critical Data Method (CDM) schedule.
- Track, analyze and report information to allow project teams to manage their projects and elevate weekly reports.
- Ensure accuracy of project schedules, task and meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports.

- Prepare, implement and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.
- Monitor project progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress data.
- Track baselines, perform what‑if analysis and coordinate with project management and controlling to develop contingency plans.
- Coordinate cross‑functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items and work with the Project Manager to ensure resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) with specialized coursework in business and two (2) to five (5) years of project‑related scheduling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge
- Mining and/or bulk material handling industries.
- Research methods and techniques, general math, and English composition.
- Coordinating and managing basic office systems.
- Modern office terminology, procedures, equipment, and records management.

Salary
Salary from $85,000 USD.
