Details:

Belcan is seeking a Project Scheduler with over 5 years of experience for a full-time position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project scheduling, proficiency in Smartsheet, and experience working with engineers, project managers, and cost account managers from engineering development to production.

Job Duties:

1. Work with the cross-functional team to create, refine, and update project plans.
2. Define business needs, project goals, and key milestones.
3. Conduct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) workshops to break down work into deliverables and functions.
4. Create and update project schedules and action plans to meet milestones and goals.
5. Collaborate with technical team members to set up tasks, assignments, durations, and linkages.
6. Support WBS and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, baseline management, and change requests.
7. Monitor project timelines, identify delays, and facilitate interventions.
8. Run critical path analyses and communicate their importance.
9. Generate reports on key metrics, milestones, and critical paths for client leadership.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in project scheduling or management.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Technical or mechanical background preferred, especially experience with engineers.
• Ownership mindset and commitment to project success.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
