Job summary

Ameren Missouri is hiring a Project Risk Manager for the West Alton site, initially via a hybrid arrangement at the DRC in St. Louis, with a future transition to full onsite at West Alton Energy Center.

You will own end-to-end risk management, modeling, and contingency forecasting across a major capital project. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and about eight years in risk, controls, or project management on large capital programs, plus strong leadership and communication skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, business, construction management, finance preferred.
• Eight years of relevant experience in estimating, budgeting, forecasting, construction management, project scheduling, risk analysis/management or project management is required.
• Hands-on experience with quantitative cost and schedule risk modeling (e.g., Monte Carlo).

Responsibilities

• Lead the project risk management process for West Alton, including maintaining the risk register and risk reviews.
• Provide technical leadership in quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis and contingency methodologies.
• Manage project contingency sizing, tracking, and validation against risk and changes.
• Develop and deliver risk reporting, dashboards, and governance-level recommendations.
