The position starts in a hybrid arrangement at the St. Louis area center for 18–24 months before moving to the West Alton Energy Center as a full-time onsite role, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is required.
• Five years of relevant contract administration experience on large capital projects is required.
• Experience administering construction contracts; utility or industrial projects preferred.
• NCMA or paralegal certification or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer contract documents, obligations, and correspondence for the West Alton project and maintain the contract register.
• Coordinate with Purchasing & Contracting and Legal on interfacing with engineers and OEMs.
• Track deliverables, insurance, bonds, notices, and milestones against terms; flag exceptions for resolution.
• Administer the change-order process and assist invoicing workflows with Cost Engineer and Invoice Auditor.
• Maintain contract records and support close-out, release of claims, and retention per policy.
