Job summary

Ameren Missouri seeks a Project Risk Manager to own the end-to-end risk process for major capital projects. You will maintain the risk register, perform probabilistic cost/schedule analyses, size contingencies, and ensure robust risk governance and reporting to leadership.

You will lead a team, collaborate across Project Controls, Cost Engineering, and scheduling units, and mentor analysts while driving continuous improvement in risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, finance, or a related field.
• Eight years of experience in estimating, budgeting, forecasting, construction management, scheduling, and risk/management.
• Experience in project risk management or controls on large capital projects with quantitative cost/schedule risk modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project risk management process for West Alton, maintaining the risk register and tracking mitigation.
• Provide leadership in quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, including probabilistic modeling and Monte Carlo.
• Manage contingency sizing, drawdown tracking, and validation against risk profile and project changes.
• Collaborate with Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Planning/Scheduling, PM, and engineers to align risk data with reporting.
• Develop risk reporting dashboards and present top risks and mitigation progress to leadership.
• Mentor risk analysts and drive process improvements and governance practices.
