Job summary

Voith US Inc. in York, PA, is seeking a Project Quality Manager to provide leadership for hydroelectric project quality from bid through turnover.

You will align customer, contract, regulatory, and company quality requirements across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction teams. The role requires coordinating with Project Managers and stakeholders, driving risk assessments, nonconformances, and continuous improvement initiatives, with occasional travel to supplier and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality, Manufacturing, PM, Construction, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project quality or related functions.
• Experience in engineer-to-order, energy, construction, or hydroelectric environments.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple functions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all project quality activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Integrate customer, contractual, regulatory, and environmental quality requirements.
• Act as primary quality representative within project teams.
• Report to Head of Project Quality and own project quality performance.
• Identify quality risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Promote preventive quality culture and continuous improvement.
