Job summary

GE Vernova’s North American Hydroelectric division seeks a Project Quality Leader to be the first point of contact for quality within a project team, ensuring compliance with GE Vernova standards and contractual commitments.

You will define the quality assurance strategy with the project director, produce the project quality plan, and coordinate inspections with customers and supply chain while supporting cost-of-quality analyses. Travel within North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience with customer relationship management.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and convey quality contract requirements to project team and kickoff meetings.
• Consolidate lessons learned to prevent problems.
• Define QA strategy with the project director and identify project risks.
• Produce the project quality plan and inspection/test plans with other functions.
• Communicate and ensure application by project team members.
• Coordinate quality inspections with customer and supply chain.
• Prepare and deliver quality databooks ensuring client requirements compliance.
• Monitor project process performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Manage non-conformity reports and cost-of-quality analyses.
• Support quality documentation and ensure site QC in line with client requirements.
