Job summary

APRILE MTO MEXICO in Houston is seeking a senior pricing leader to drive freight pricing across all modes. You will own pricing strategies, cost models, and bid responses to win strategic opportunities.

The role requires at least five years in freight pricing, leadership experience, and strong analytical and Excel skills. You will collaborate with sales, operations, and international offices, delivering accurate quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of pricing experience in freight forwarding.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and pricing.

• Lead pricing activities for project and strategic freight opportunities across all transport modes
• Develop competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability while supporting business growth
• Prepare pricing proposals, cost models and bid responses for customers and commercial teams
• Analyse transportation costs, market trends and lane profitability to support pricing decisions
• Collaborate with sales, operations and overseas offices to deliver accurate and timely quotations
• Monitor pricing performance and recommend improvements to pricing strategies and processes
• Support carrier relationship management and transportation network optimisation
• Conduct financial analysis for strategic customer opportunities
• Lead, coach and develop the pricing team while driving continuous process improvements
• Minimum 5 years of pricing experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and transportation pricing
• Advanced analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and other database management tools
