At MapleCraft Engineers, we are on the lookout for a Project Operations Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role (U.S. only). While this position is primarily remote, there will be occasional travel but don't worry, we will always aim to keep it near where you live. What You'll Be Doing (Your Impact)
- Project Planning & Coordination: You'll oversee and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables stay on track.
- Remote Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to streamline communication and workflow, using top-tier digital tools to stay connected.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve project efficiency and execution. Your ability to fine-tune operations will make a huge impact!
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulations, and MapleCraft's high-quality expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, troubleshoot challenges, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources effectively, ensuring the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to meet deadlines.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track project performance, generate reports, and use insights to drive smarter decisions for future projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring transparency and smooth project execution.
- Occasional Travel: While this role is primarily remote, you'll travel as needed, usually within your region, to visit project sites or meet with teams. We will always give you plenty of notice!
What We are Looking For
- Must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.
- 3+ years of experience in project operations, project management, or a related engineering field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; you thrive in a fast-paced environment!
- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Understanding of civil engineering, structural design, or construction processes (bonus points if you have experience in these fields!).
- Excellent problem-solving skills; you're the person people turn to when challenges arise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you'll be working with teams, clients, and stakeholders remotely.
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals and company vision.
