Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry. We are looking for a Machine Learning Operations Engineer to join our Data Science team.

If you are excited by technology that handles hundreds of thousands of transactions per second, collects tens of billions of events daily, and evaluates thousands of data points in real-time with response times of just a few milliseconds, IAS is the place for you!

As a Machine Learning Operations Engineer, you will be part of a team at the forefront of innovation and data quality, contributing to our core products. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data pipelines, building and deploying tools into large-scale production systems in the brand safety domain for advertising inventory across various platforms. You will also be involved in multimedia data pipeline maintenance, tool and service design for data inspection, and data visualization of model quality.

What you'll get to do

1. Design and maintain data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support annotation systems at scale.
2. Develop and deploy scalable tools and services for data inspection, bias detection, and error pattern analysis.
3. Create data visualization dashboards to present results clearly.
4. Apply software engineering best practices in database handling, CI/CD, automation, and code quality.
5. Collaborate with taxonomists, knowledge engineers, linguists, machine learning researchers, data scientists, and data engineers.
6. Work across multiple time zones within your local working hours.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Information, Data, or Computer Science/Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience with cloud system integration, data pipeline design, or API/SDK interaction with third-party services.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Snowflake), Databricks, GitHub.
• Nice to have: experience with annotation tools, understanding data science tools, Big Data frameworks, API interaction, Agile, CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spark applications (Spark SQL, PySpark).
• Machine learning pipeline expertise.
• API proficiency.
• UI design skills.
