Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in the United States is seeking an entry-level project support assistant to back our project leads, assist with data entry, and read/interpret plans. The role requires 1+ years in an office setting, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with transportation, planning, engineering and sales teams, assist with pricing and submittals, and help ensure on-time

Qualifications

• 1+ years in an office environment.
• Experience working in manufacturing or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication.
• Comfortable user of Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to be adaptable & flexible in our ever-changing work environment.
• Experience with SAP or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to project lead team.
• Read/interpret plans and drawings.
• Determine pricing of products as needed.
• Build submittal packets for customers.
• Inform team of the status of their orders, advising them of any changes.
• Coordinate effectively with transportation, planning, engineering, and sales.
• Follow up on inquiries for customer issue resolution and product design; process escalations when needed.
• Coordinate with different departments to resolve team's requests in an effective manner.
