Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an entry-level team member to support project leads, perform data entry, and read/interpret plans at our Kenosha, WI or Elgin, IL plant. The role targets candidates with 1+ years in an office setting and comfort using Excel, with SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities include coordinating with transportation, planning, engineering and sales, preparing submittals, and communicating order status. Competitive benefits accompany the base salary.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in an office environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication.
• Comfortable user of Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to be adaptable & flexible in our ever-changing work environment.
• Experience with SAP or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to project lead team.
• Handle administrative tasks for project leads.
• Read/interpret plans and drawings.
• Determine pricing of products as needed.
• Build submittal packets for customers.
• Inform team of the status of their orders, advising them of any changes.
• Coordinate effectively with transportation, planning, engineering, and sales.
• Follow up on inquiries for customer issue resolution and product design; process escalations when needed.
• Coordinate with different departments to resolve team's requests in an effective manner.
