Job summary

AcoustiEngineering is seeking a Project Manager for ceilings to oversee the full lifecycle of diverse projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and upholding high-quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years in commercial ceiling sales, strong communication, and PM or Construction Management credentials, with proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. A client-focused, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial ceiling sales experience.
• Strong communication with customers, construction teams and internal personnel.
• PM experience or a Construction Management degree required.
• Knowledge of ceiling products, installation, and field troubleshooting.
• Ability to evaluate and respond to RFPs, blueprints, specs and contracts.
• Experience managing large ceiling projects with cost, schedule and quality in mind.
• Experience with Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff and Timberline software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related construction tools.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope requirements and clarify expectations with stakeholders.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for pricing decisions and profitability.
• Ensure bid proposals are precise and align with goals.
• Estimate and manage ceilings projects from pre-start to closeout.
• Complete takeoffs, place material orders, and manage delivery and punch lists.
• Engage with corporate, institutional, government, medical, and hospitality clients.
• Conduct professional face-to-face interactions from first contact to close.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consultative selling.
• Maximize sales opportunities and grow market share via proactive outreach.
• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals and networking.
