Job summary

Job description

• Manage project execution from initial concept through construction completion
• Ensure adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements
• Act as the primary client point of contact
• Guide clients through funding options, permitting, and project execution
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight
• Prepare and oversee construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, opinions of cost, and reports
• Maintain high-quality standards
• Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
• Address project needs and resolve design challenges
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities
• Contribute to proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
• Plan, design, and administer construction of drinking water and wastewater infrastructure projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Strong technical skills
• Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others
• Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Preferred: Familiarity with New England and New York water and wastewater regulations, permitting processes, and funding opportunities
• Preferred: Understanding of Revit use on multidisciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure projects
