Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a licensed Professional Engineer to lead water and wastewater consulting projects in the Northeast. You will manage concept through construction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure regulatory and funding compliance.

You will mentor staff, prepare plans and permit applications, and maintain schedules and budgets while delivering high-quality design for treatment plants, pumps, and conveyance systems. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Considerable consulting engineering experience with increasing responsibility in the water and wastewater industry.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills.
  • Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with New England and New York water/wastewater regulations and funding (preferred).
  • Understanding of Revit on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects (preferred).
  • Experience in water and wastewater system design (preferred).
  • Self-motivated learner with enthusiasm for professional growth (preferred).
  • Additional state licensure to support diverse project needs (preferred).
