Location: Fredericksburg, VA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 salary DOE + Bonus ($500-1000 per home completed)

A regional single-family custom home builder with a small-company feel and extensive back-office support, operating across multiple states while working directly with local clients to build custom homes in an affordable niche. The company is seeking a Project Manager/Superintendent to oversee new custom home construction, offering strong career growth potential and a supportive, long-term-focused culture.

What you'll do

• Manage multiple custom home construction projects at once (typically 5-10), with average construction costs ranging from $390k up to $550k or higher
• Oversee new construction projects across various scattered lot locations
• Lead project teams and drive successful operations from start to finish
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and homeowners through excellent communication
• Collaborate with back-office support staff on estimating packages and other project needs
• Participate in ongoing training and annual meetings to stay current on building technology and practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years experience in custom residential construction, preferably in scattered lot building or managing multiple projects across various locations
• 5+ year proven track record of successful operations and project leadership within new construction
• Strong team-building skills
• Excellent communication abilities with customers and owners

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive salary and bonus structure: $80,000-$85,000 salary DOE, plus bonus
• Bonus of $500-1000 per home completed
