Job summary

Southland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial MEP construction projects, mentor junior staff, and drive safety and quality.

You will manage client relations, budgets, schedules, and coordination with subcontractors; develop reports and provide guidance to Project Engineers. This on-site role emphasizes leadership and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage small teams.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develops client relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
• Managed budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.
• Develops budget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and other report as necessary.
• Delegates work and serves as mentor to Project Engineers. Provides coaching and performance feedback as necessary.

Pay:Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Virginia this ranges from$118,119.00 - $144,368.00plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
