Job summary

Southland Industries, a leading MEP firm, seeks an MEP Project Manager to lead a mission-critical project in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee design and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring milestones, safety, and quality.

You will collaborate with a top-tier team, manage budgets and client relationships, and guide a team or project lead on smaller projects or portions of larger ones. The role rewards strong PM skills and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years of PM experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems and design aspects.
  • Experience managing small teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing subcontractors.
  • Proficient with CADD, ERP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • May manage a team or serve as project lead.
  • Manage budgets, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
  • Develops client relationships by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
  • Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
  • Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.

  • Strong computer skills, including CADD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel
