Job summary

BOWA Construction in Dallas is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead high-rise, ground-up, and self-perform construction projects.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and quality, coordinating in-house crews and subcontractors, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate has vertical construction background and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction project management with direct involvement in high-rise, ground-up, or self-perform building projects.
• Experience managing self-perform scopes such as concrete, carpentry, demolition, or other trade work is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with vertical construction methods, sequencing, and logistics.
• Working knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of high-rise construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead preconstruction efforts, including estimating, logistics planning, and procurement strategies.
• Monitor project progress, resolve on-site challenges, and maintain quality control.
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal team members.
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Supervise project engineers and field staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in regular progress meetings and provide detailed status updates to leadership and stakeholder.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We're seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Dallas. This role is ideal for a construction professional with 5+ years of experience who is ready to lead the successful execution of high-rise, ground-up, and self-perform construction projects from start to finish. You'll oversee project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to BOWA's standards of quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in vertical construction and experience managing self-perform operations, coordinating both in-house field crews and subcontractors on mid- to large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
