Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Project Manager (Level 2 or 3) to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects on-site. The role acts as a liaison between project management, planning, the project team, and line management, reviewing project status and budgets.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, work independently, and handle high expectations across diverse assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of project management, supply chain, engineering or business management experience.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Experience preparing and presenting presentations.
• Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manages/Facilitates Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management.
• Manages program rhythm and associated calendars.
• Develops/maintains Program Definition Documents (PDDs), CWBS and other PM Plans.
• Integrates, controls, and manages program and product requirements.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers and clients.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers, IPTs, and suppliers.
