Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Project Engineer 3/4 to support our Systems Engineering organization. This role requires a U.S. government Secret clearance and offers opportunities to lead Change Integration across complex programs.

The position involves requirement analysis, technical reviews, and collaboration with internal and external customers. Relocation and travel are possible; a flexible work environment is offered to advance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s of Science degree in STEM with 5 years of related engineering experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience.
Formal training in Program/Program Management including Baseline Management, Program Change, Change Integration, Risk and Opportunity Management, and Risk Management Analysis.
Must be able to provide support until 4pm EST; overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

Apply Change Integration and management principles to complex problems.
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
Support chief engineers in defect analysis and path forwards.
Contribute to Change Proposal Development and Risk Management and Opportunity analysis.
Represent the organization in working with internal and external customers on projects.
