Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM or Architecture/Construction with 5 years of project or facilities experience, or a higher degree with less experience.
• Experience with design contracts and design reviews.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities projects to support sustaining infrastructure and program needs.
• Plan and oversee reconfiguration, maintenance and alterations of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinate with architectural/engineering firms for design criteria and drawings review.
• Prepare scopes of work and procurement documents for design/construction services.
• Review cost estimates including design, equipment, installation, labor and materials.
• Inspect construction progress to ensure conformance with plans and schedules.
• Manage multiple facilities projects simultaneously and forecast status with risk metrics.
• Develop risk mitigation and schedule recovery plans as required.
