Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Manager Industrial Security 2 to lead the security program for classified and proprietary materials. The role requires building and directing a team, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and coordinating with government agencies.

You will develop security education programs, oversee internal audits, manage budgets, and guide professionals across the security organization. A DoD Secret clearance and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience in Security within Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Military related experience.
• Minimum of 2 Years of management, supervisor, or leadership experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance in-scope within last 5 years and ability to obtain special program access.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of leadership characteristics in a high intensity environment.
• Develop and administer security programs for classified or proprietary materials and equipment.
• Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company operations.
• Obtain rulings and deviations for compliance from government agencies.
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations and procedures for access control and records handling.
• Develop and implement security education programs; oversee internal security audits.
