Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an experienced Project Manager with restoration or construction focus to lead large, high-profile projects in Austin. You will manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, schedule work, and ensure on-time delivery for projects often exceeding $1M.

The role requires strong client communication, budgeting acumen, and a commitment to BELFOR standards and training. Travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Assist other PM, and Senior PM's and volunteer for CAT duty as possible
• Advance knowledge of technical services and building codes/regulations
• Serve as role models for Superintendents
• Sell and upgrade additional services on assigned projects
• Communicate daily with Estimators on status, timelines, or issues
• Improve core project management skills to complete on time and on budget with customer satisfaction
• Construction focus: plan, coordinate, and oversee employees and subcontractors
• Read and manage blue prints
• Responsible for projects exceeding $1M
• Understand and adhere to local building codes and regulatory agencies
• Restoration focus: direct small crews of BELFOR personnel
• Manage and document rate and material projects with PMs/Estimators
• Supervise multiple crews on multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all BELFOR service lines.
• Construction track -- understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure project safety, and maintain quality control
• Establish core project management capabilities including time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, customer contact, communication, quality control, safety, documentation, and change orders
• Review daily requirements of the projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various projects
• Must be capable managing fixed bid projects and rate and material projects
• Demonstrate understanding of BELFOR invoicing; provide necessary documentation
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses; travel as required
