Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager - Remote Operations Center (ROC) to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will oversee a complex remote operations initiative that spans IT, networking, cybersecurity, AI, and infrastructure workstreams. You will drive planning, governance, stakeholder alignment, and execution to support operational readiness and successful data integration. The position also requires strong coordination across technical teams, vendors, and executive leaders to keep priorities aligned and risks under control.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the project plan and milestones for the remote operations center initiative
• Coordinate cross-team activities across IT, networking, cybersecurity, and AI
• Engage stakeholders to align project outcomes with operational needs
• Drive completion of tasks related to setup and data integration
• Facilitate project governance meetings and report progress to executives
• Ensure accountability across teams, vendors, and business units
• Identify project risks early and support timely decision-making

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, ideally in IT or digital transformation
• Experience with cross-functional programs in infrastructure, applications, and AI solutions
• Strong skills in managing stakeholders across technical and executive levels
• Proven track record in handling complex projects with many moving parts
• Familiarity with project governance and risk management techniques
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
