Job summary

Rodgers Builders is seeking a Project Manager with a passion for healthcare construction to oversee complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, client and community service, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience required, healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and ability to mentor others.
  • Understanding of Building Code Requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and client service.
  • Manage budgets, change orders, and procurement schedules to meet project goals.
  • Lead and train Office Engineers, Project Engineers, and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Create and update Microsoft Project schedules and track project milestones.
  • Generate monthly financial reports (PAW) and coordinate with Owners on progress.

We’re seeking a Project Manager with a passion for healthcare construction to oversee complex projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, client and community service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Manage preconstruction/budgeting efforts
  • Forecast project labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Ability to manage teams on one large or multiple small projects
  • Ability to manage all aspects of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare Request for Change Orders (RCOs) with all associated back up documentation, takeoffs and validation of costs
  • Manage Field Labor Tracking Log weekly with Superintendent
  • Project start up in CMIC. Assign phases, enter budgets, and lock the budget/start project
  • Responsible for compiling, oversight, and managing the creation of the Reality Check package
  • Oversee and train Office Engineers, Project Engineers, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Ability to create and update Microsoft Project schedules
  • Manage Monthly Procurement Schedule Updating with teamFacilitate Meetings with Owner to review Change Management progress
  • Generate Owner Change Orders for Office in Charge (OIC) review
  • Perform Project Budget Revisions
  • Produce monthly financial reports (PAW)

Requirements / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience
