Job summary

Rodgers Builders in Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our on-site team. You will lead safety, planning, and coordination across multiple subcontractors, ensuring alignment with contract documents and project timelines.

You will drive daily field operations, mentor crew members, and collaborate closely with Owners, Designers, and the project team to deliver high‑quality results in a dynamic regional portfolio.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our Charleston Regional Team.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project work
• Assist with the development and communication of the project plan to include the project schedule, site logistics, safety, and quality programs
• Coordinate the work of multiple subcontractors and lead subcontractor coordination meetings on a regular basis
• Conduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-ins
• Maintain daily reports using 360 Field
• Ensure all work is installed in accordance with the contract documents
• Assist in resolving construction issues to maintain the productivity of subcontractors
• Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control
• Capable of producing and updating detailed schedules
• Strong communication skills, ability to run meetings and coordinate with Owners and Designers
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to collaborate daily with the project team
• OSHA 30-hour trained

Requirements / Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience as the lead team member preferred
• Has experience in establishing building layout and control
• Proficient in document change and RFI management
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout
• Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and train others
• Monitors and addresses production through various trades
