Job summary

Rodgers Builders, Inc. is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our Charleston regional team. You will lead multi-trade coordination, ensure safety, and drive project plans from start to finish.

You will mentor teams, manage schedules, and maintain high quality across complex projects, working closely with Owners and Designers to deliver on commitments.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience as the lead team member preferred.
• Experience in establishing building layout and control.
• Proficient in document change and RFI management.
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout.
• Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and train others.
• Monitors and addresses production through various trades.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project work.
• Assist with the development and communication of the project plan including schedule, site logistics, safety, and quality programs.
• Coordinate the work of multiple subcontractors and lead subcontractor coordination meetings regularly.
• Conduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-ins.
• Maintain daily reports using 360 Field.
• Ensure all work is installed per contract documents.
• Assist in resolving construction issues to maintain subcontractor productivity.
• Experience and proficiency in divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
• Capable of producing and updating detailed schedules.
• Strong communication skills, run meetings, coordinate with Owners and Designers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Team environment collaboration.
