Pasco County is seeking a Project Manager to oversee specialized transportation engineering and management within the County's TCIP. The role focuses on transportation planning studies (route studies) and roadway design projects, including reviews of plans, cost estimates, bids, schedules, and other engineering deliverables.

The Project Manager role involves highly specialized transportation engineering and project management work related to the County's Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP).
Main duties include management of transportation planning studies (route studies) and roadway design projects; reviews of construction plans, cost estimates, bid documents, project schedules, and other engineering deliverables; preparation and/or reviews of project scopes of services and staff-hour and fee estimates; direction, coordination, and review of in-house technical staff work; attendance of meetings with Project Management staff, consultants, other County departments and divisions, County officials, and the public; coordination with regulatory agencies and utilities for issuance of project related permits and utility work schedules, and preparation of internal communication documents and materials (agenda memos for Board approval, PowerPoint presentations, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field and four (4) years of experience in civil projects, roadway projects, or transportation projects in general, including 1-2 years as a project manager. Preferred experience: CADD Civil-3D, Roadway or site construction.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Florida driver's license. Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida preferred.
