• Excellent communication, organization and client-management skills.
• Knowledge of North Houston municipal markets is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.

Job description

I am working with a growing engineering consultancy that is seeking a Municipal Infrastructure Project Manager to join its team in Houston or The Woodlands.

The position will involve leading public infrastructure projects throughout their full lifecycle while managing technical teams, project finances and municipal client relationships.

Salary: $120,000-$170,000, depending on experience

Job Specifications:

• Manage municipal infrastructure projects from initial planning through final closeout
• Establish project scopes, work plans, budgets, schedules and staffing requirements
• Lead internal engineering teams and coordinate external subconsultants
• Oversee the preparation of plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates
• Maintain compliance with quality-control procedures and client requirements
• Manage project accounting, invoicing and financial performance
• Provide regular progress updates to senior practice leadership
• Develop project proposals, fee estimates and resource plans
• Build relationships with municipal clients and public agencies
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the continued development of the team

Key Requirements:
