Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Texas Professional Engineer licence, or currently obtaining licensure.
• Experience in land or site development engineering.
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships.
• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

I am working with an established civil engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Land Development Project Manager to its Houston team.

The position will involve managing a range of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use development projects throughout the Greater Houston region.

Salary: $120,000-$165,000, depending on experience

Job Specifications:

• Manage land and site development projects from initial planning through construction
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
• Coordinate the preparation of grading, drainage, paving and utility plans
• Manage client communication and act as the primary contact throughout project delivery

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Texas Professional Engineer licence, or currently obtaining licensure
• Previous land or site development engineering experience
• Experience managing civil engineering projects and client relationships
• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to manage several projects and competing deadlines
• Knowledge of the Greater Houston development market would be beneficial
