  • Demonstrated ability to interact credibly with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to adapt presentation style as required by audience.

Responsibilities

  • Works as a key partner of the leadership team to implement and manage innovative programs and initiatives for MHCHC.
  • Manages projects, task delegation, and organizational strategy for operationalizing MHCHC initiatives and directives.
  • Applies business consulting, problem solving, relationship management, technology management, program coordination, quality improvement and solution delivery skills to enhance clinical team engagement and performance on priorities.
  • Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 8:00 - 4:30, variable

Summary
Works as a key partner of the leadership team to implement and manage innovative programs and initiatives in response to MetroHealth Community Health Centers (MHCHC), a public-entity Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, strategic and clinical priorities, funding opportunities, health policy, and community needs. Manages projects, task delegation, and organizational strategy for operationalizing MHCHC initiatives and directives. Applies business consulting, problem solving, relationship management, customer diplomacy, technology management, program coordination, quality improvement and solution delivery skills to enhance clinical team engagement and performance on organizational priorities. Works in a highly efficient and organized manner to implement systems and follow up processes and works effectively under tight time constraints to produce a quality work product. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Services, Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
  • 5 years recent experience in quality or process improvement, project management and/or change management.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment involving high profile priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact credibly and effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to achieve results for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to adapt presentation style as required by audience.
  • Ability to influence others and build strong partnerships, including effective working relationships with physicians.
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented with organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Appropriate certification in project/program management (e.g., PMP).
  • Five years of related experience in a health care setting.
  • Understanding of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and/or Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alikes (FQHC LALs).
Physical Demands
  • May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
  • May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
  • Ability to communicate face-to-face and via phone, email, and other forms of communication.
  • Ability to read job related documents.
