The MetroHealth System is seeking an experienced facilities leader to oversee operations for all owned and leased properties across the network, including hospitals and medical office buildings. Provides facilities operational oversight for all owned and leased properties within The MetroHealth System (MHS), including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, free-standing EDs, medical office buildings, and supporting structures. Oversees and protects the physical assets of The MetroHealth System by ensuring safe and efficient operation of building systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, etc.) and provides in-depth knowledge of preventative and corrective programs. Provides vision, leadership, and strategic, operational, and financial oversight for MHS Facilities Management, including utilities, building repair, plant operations and maintenance, and infrastructure management. Provides direction and coordination for all facilities management services to support the mission and strategic objectives of the MetroHealth System (MHS). Provides operational oversight for the Environmental Health and Safety Department, ensuring policies and programs foster employee health and safety, compliance with Codes and Standards, and continuous accreditation readiness. Works collaboratively with MHS leaders to enhance the delivery of a full portfolio of services in a patient-centric manner. Ensures facilities and their operations follow applicable local, state, and federal regulating bodies. Participates in institutional planning, policy development, and problem resolution with other leaders. Reports on operational issues frequently and as needed to senior leadership. Serves as an ambassador for MHS and builds positive community relationships. Advances the organization’s position with relevant constituents and drives broader awareness and support for MetroHealth. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
