Job summary

Planet Pharma in the United States is seeking a senior data governance/finance analytics professional to build and maintain data tools for governance, quality and KPI tracking. You will gather requirements, design data connections, and deliver ad hoc analyses across CDL-F initiatives.

Requires 7–10 years in accounting/finance, advanced Excel/PowerPoint, and strong data visualization skills with Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• 7–10 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience partnering across functions and levels of an organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with forecasting/budgeting in a large company is valued.
• Knowledge of planning/visualization tools and data queries.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to support data governance and maintenance of CDL-F.
• Gather requirements and update project plans for CDL-F deliverables.
• Manage inbound/outbound data connections for CDLF including testing and deployment.
• Create KPI tracking tools to monitor improvement efforts and progress.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
• Support data quality checks; document data structures and guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow, accessibility and reporting efficiency.
• Update status reports weekly and monthly.

Job Description

• Develop tools and capabilities to support Data Governance and Maintenance of CDL-F
  • Update and modify as needed User Security and Access
  • Update and modify reference tables
  • Help implement data metrics to ensure quality of all source and output data
• Gather Requirements and update project plans for CDL-F new deliverables and enhancements.
• Manage inbound and outbound data connections for CDLF, including requirements gathering, connection design and build, testing cycles, deployment, and hyper care support.
• Create and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor continuous improvement efforts and measure progress.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting, as needed.
• Support data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency; document data structures, processes, and user guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
• Update status reports on a weekly, monthly basis.

Qualifications

Required:

• Requires 7-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Math/Physics
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across multiple functions as well as various levels of the organization
• Highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output.
• Open to new ideas and utilizes value-added principles in approach.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities, due dates, and shifting priorities, under tight timeframes
• Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data
• Experience working independently as well as team environments and integrating activities across multiple functions / divisions
• Adapt at analyzing and summarizing data from multiple sources.
