Job summary

Sam Quest Solutions Inc. is hiring a Project Manager III to lead data governance initiatives and drive CDL-F deliverables in a cross-functional environment.

You will translate business requirements into actionable project plans, maintain security references, and implement data metrics to improve data quality and reporting. The role requires 7–10 years PM, accounting, or finance experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive project management, accounting, or finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Math/Physics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills — able to partner across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to translate broad direction into high-quality analytical output.
• Strong project management experience managing multiple activities, due dates, and shifting priorities under tight timeframes.
• Proactive problem-solver — able to identify issues and analyze/interpret related data.
• Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
• 2–3 years of forecasting or budgeting experience in a large company.
• Knowledge of planning/visualization/data query tools (Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Power Query, Anaplan/SAC/TM1/BPC).

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and capabilities to support Data Governance and maintenance of CDL-F.
• Update and modify User Security & Access and reference tables.
• Help implement data metrics to ensure quality of source and output data.
• Gather requirements and manage project plans for CDL-F deliverables and enhancements.
• Manage inbound/outbound data connections — requirements gathering, connection design/build, testing, deployment, and hyper care support.
• Create and maintain KPI tracking tools to monitor continuous improvement and measure progress.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
• Support data quality checks and document data structures, processes, and user guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
• Provide weekly/monthly status updates.

This role is ideal for a project management professional with strong data governance, reporting, KPI management, and analytical skills who can translate business requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
