Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration seeks an entry-level Project Manager with a restoration or construction focus to supervise residential and light commercial work. Candidates should meet BELFOR competency requirements and may advance via technician tracks in fire, water or carpentry or through related industry experience.

The role emphasizes coordinating scopes, managing schedules and budgets, maintaining safety and quality, and providing thorough field documentation.

Qualifications

• IICRC ASD designation for Water Damage related work.
• BELFOR New Hire Coursework completed.
• Certified to operate a Hi-Lo forklift.
• 18 months as Intermediate Water Damage Specialist or Intermediate Carpentry or Intermediate Fire Damage Specialist or equivalent experience.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Must have urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Know program requirements, Xactimate estimates and budgets for TPA program work.
• Construction track: understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure safety and quality control.
• Develop core project management capabilities: time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, customer contact, communication, quality control, safety, documentation, change orders.
• continually advance knowledge of current and past construction practices.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress, and notify managers of progress and challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various BELFOR projects.
• Must perform skills of Intermediate Fire Damage, Water Damage, or Carpentry as related.
• Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections; maintain equipment.
• Meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding others' property and customer service principles.
• Work under time constraints to meet timelines; may require nights, weekends, and travel.
• Report time worked and materials used; attend BELFOR training courses.
