The National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) harvests innovative technology from the commercial and non-defense marketplace, transforming government innovation while decreasing costs, compressing timelines, and improving outcomes. We offer a unique and simplified approach to rapidly develop, demonstrate, and assess prototypes that address a range of operational and installation needs, from individual Warfighter technology to large-scale installation projects. NSTXL supports the delivery of technology to the Department of Defense by serving as a one-stop shop to match government requirements with innovative private-sector and academic solutions.

NSTXL is creating an ecosystem of innovators to collaborate and bring next-generation technologies to the end-user. Currently, our OTAs have more than 900 corporate, non-profit, educational, and financial institution members. For these members, NSTXL offers opportunities to bid on government contracts, education and training, and live/virtual forums on a wide variety of topics.

Job Description

Are you a proactive leader with a passion for driving complex projects to success? We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager II to oversee prototype initiatives and ensure seamless collaboration among Government Agreements Officers, technical teams, and project Performers.

In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of post-award project execution—from planning and implementation to performance tracking and budget adherence. Success requires excellent communication skills and a strong background in government or DoD environments.

What You'll Do
  • Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring to meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Act as the main liaison between government and industry partners, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and manage risks, monitor financial performance, and update stakeholders.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure project progress and success.
  • Prepare briefings and monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements.
  • Lead technical and contractual meetings as needed.
  • Support the Senior Program Manager administratively as required.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or similar roles.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with Government or DoD.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to identify risks, track progress, and improve processes.
  • Experience leading meetings and stakeholder presentations.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with OTAs.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma certifications.
  • Secret clearance preferred.
Location & Travel

Remote, with up to 10% travel.
