Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to spearhead the transition of their paper-based Engineering Library into a fully digital and searchable repository. This person will be responsible for project scoping, planning, resource requirements, timelines, with the overall goal of reaching a plan to fully digitalize a library by next June. However, is person will be responsible for planning of the project, not for executing on the project itself. This role is 90% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document the full project scope, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for the digital transformation.
• Develop a detailed roadmap that includes timelines, resource allocation, key dependencies, and risk management strategies.
• Assess and determine the necessary resources (both internal and external) required to execute the digitalization initiative once the plan is approved.
• Establish realistic timelines that align with the goal of partnering with vendors and completing planning by next June.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather insights and ensure that the planning process reflects both operational needs and strategic objectives.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation outlining the plan, including change control measures and governance recommendations.
• Present planning deliverables and progress updates to senior management and relevant project teams.

Must haves:

• 2-3+ years of experience in managing projects.
• Experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects with rapid turnaround times.
• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and capable of handling evolving project dynamics with precision - logistical thinking.
