Mortenson is seeking a Project Manager I in the Power Delivery Solutions group to lead project quality, timeliness, and safety while mentoring the team. You will develop strong client relationships through exceptional service and manage project finances from planning to execution.

The role requires coordinating with owners, architects, and field staff, with travel up to 100%. Base pay ranges and incentive eligibility reflect office location variations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of construction management or related experience with large projects.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for complex projects.

Responsabilités

• Manage overall financial health of projects including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and allocate project estimates into financial system.
• Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment.
• Create monthly owner billings and handle billings and contract management including contract buyouts.
• Oversee budget for and select trade partners and suppliers.
• Lead/Manage Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s), assign tasks, and support career development.
• Approve timecards for on-site team members and provide performance feedback.
• Serve as main contact with owner and on-site rep, review owner agreement, resolve site concerns.
• Execute/Manage change orders, obtain owner/architect approvals, and submit as needed.
• Maintain schedule and budget through project completion, overseeing quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
